Block from initial load

Some apps load enough before the intervention in such a way that it defeats the purpose. For example - I am trying to curb my habit of checking slack over and over outside of the time blocks when it’s appropriate; but slack loads before one sec blocks anything so I can see if there is a message for me prior to the block and thus I’m going to click through. Ideally I would have to CHOOSE to continue to Slack before seeing if I have any messages. If I have to opt out of reading an actual message I am basically just relying on my self-control thus defeating the purpose of this app.
