Block Session as a New Intervention Type (to "trade" for app usage)

I keep opening and closing the app over and over. My current settings are 40s breathing + re-intervention after 5min, but I tends to fall into the loop of 40s + 5min.

What I Want Basically is

It would be really great if I can choose to block a set of app (for 25min (inspired by pomodoro method). When that 25 mins are done, I unlock a longer session (like 10 - 15 mins) for the app that initiated the app block.

Example:

  • I decide: "No Instagram for 1 hours"

  • I wait the 1 hours

  • After 1 hours, I can use Instagram for 20 minutes without the 1-minute breathing intervention getting in the way

  • Then the normal rules come back

Why This Helps:

  1. Instead of fighting the app 10 times a day, I'm making one bigger choice

  2. If I actually make it 2 hours without checking, I feel like I won something—not just forced to wait

  3. I'm less likely to waste the 20 minutes because I earned it, not because the app forced me to take it
