Expiration Date for Scheduled Blocks
Create block on app for X days
Say I want to break the cycle of use. Currently I have a strict 24-h block for apps that I want to prevent myself from using at all but I can’t remove the block (which is honestly fine). I would like to be have a strict 24-h block for a set period though. Like maybe I need a detox from Instagram but don’t completely want to get rid of it forever.

Hi @Katie Miller , thanks for getting in touch!
fFor which platform is this request?
You can just create a block session/ manual block on Android and iOS like this: https://tutorials.one-sec.app/en/articles/3311298
On Browser Extension it should also be possible by tapping the one sec symbol → open dashboard → navigate from Overview tab to Block tab → New Block → Set to once → Add time and the pages you want to block. (Attached Screenshots)

I mainly use iOS. I was thinking of a scheduled block that expires after a set period of time (2 weeks or 30d)

@Katie Miller I like your idea! So basically a detox/fasting feature?

Exactly. Something to help me break a habit I might have or take a vacation from my phone.
In my perfect world I with I could turn my iPhone into almost a dumb phone with all the messaging, navigation and fitness apps. That’s beyond the scope of this idea though lol

Okay, gave it like this to our designers to explore this feature request!
And actually Frederik (founder of one sec) build another app to at least make iPhones look more minimalistic, maybe that’s something for you: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/minimal-launcher-on-point/id6476465213?l=en-GB
