Here's the revised version with a friendlier tone:
First off, love what you've built here – One Sec has genuinely helped me be more intentional with my browsing. Really appreciate all the work you've put into this.
Right now I'm using One Sec across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.), and I have to manually set up each extension separately. It's a bit tedious, but more importantly, it's easy to end up with different settings in each browser which kind of defeats the purpose.
I know a centralized Mac app that controls all the browser extensions (like how AdGuard does it) would be amazing, but I'm guessing that's a bigger lift. In the meantime, what would be super helpful is an import/export feature for the extension settings.
Export Settings: A button that downloads my configuration (blocked sites, breath counts, custom messages, etc.) as a simple file (JSON or whatever works best)
Import Settings: A way to upload that file into the extension on any other browser and boom – everything's synced up
Configure everything once in my main browser, then just import to the others
Keep my blocking strategy consistent across all browsers
Easy to back up my settings
If I get a new computer or reset a browser, I don't have to remember everything I had blocked
Makes it way easier to recommend One Sec to friends since setup is less daunting
This would be such a quality-of-life improvement while we wait for (hopefully!) a centralized app down the road. Plus, whatever format you use for export could probably work with a future Mac app too.
Thanks for considering this! Keep up the great work – you're genuinely making a difference in how people use the internet.
