It’d be kinda cool if there was a way to have wait times proportional to the amount of time you want access to the app, but with some base lines so you can’t just access for 5 minutes, wait a second, and repeat.
I don’t know exactly how this could be done, but you could move the re-intervention selection timer to before you wait, and then have the time you have to wait be proportional to the time you want to access the app uninterrupted.
If you wanted to be real fancy, you could even penalise it so using lots of short ones to wait less time than one long one would actually extend the wait time to make it equal or more than the wait time for an extended session.
Obviously there are much smarter ways to implement these kinds of things than the way I offered, but I do think being able to wait a shorter amount of time to be able to access an app very briefly (to reply to a message for example) could be beneficial.
I think, at least personally, being able to wait less time for brief access would make me want to keep using one sec more, as waiting 6 seconds to watch reels and waiting 6 seconds to reply to a message in under a minute is kind of irritating. Having those be equal amounts of time to wait for much different use cases can be annoying.
