Block only subdomains (just Android left)
Could we please add the ability to specifically only block subdomains or have a second intervention that we can adjust separately for subdomains? I want to be able to use YouTube or Reddit to look something up without having to do an intervention when I'm trying to be productive or showing friends something but don't want to get lost in shorts or r/home scrolling.

PinnedHi there,
this is already possible with blocking and and interventions on iOS.
Is this feature request for other platforms?

yes pls. i see there is a place for it in the chrome extension but when i enter, for example, “/watch*” under youtube sub-domains, it still requires an intervention.
im not sure if i am using it incorrectly, or if implemented differently than i’d expect/is requested in this post? would be super useful for yt+reddit specifically

Hi @ko, developer of the browser extension here. The subdomain exclusion in the Chrome extension should work, but you need a slightly different configuration than you currently have. Please try using ‘/watch’ instead of your variant with the asterisk (*).
The path ‘wildcard’ is implied here: all paths that start with ‘/watch’ will no longer be intervened on. We are aware that the hint below the settings can be confusing, and supporting explicit wildcards with an asterisk might be a good idea that I will keep on my list. For now, I hope this resolves your problem :)

Yes, I’d also love to have this feature on Android, to be able to block specific time-wasting subreddits inside the browser!

For which platform is this feature desired? Now works in our browser extension for desktop.

Yeah, that’s exactly that I wanted to suggest! A small addition - now, on the contrary, you can remove some pathes, but this does not work if I switched from the excluded path to the non-excluded one while working on the pages.
