Geo Blocking
It would be great to set/unset a block depending on where you at.
Example:
Block instagram during the night and morning. If you leave the house before the time block ends the change of location ends the block.

Blocking apps while at home
iOS user here.
In order to minimize my time spent on my phone at home, I set up One Sec to block my browser and social apps while I'm home instead of just intervening. I did this using a focus mode (called 'Home') that is activated when I connect to my home Wi-Fi network.
This works fine, but it's also really easy to bypass, as all it takes is to change the focus mode back to something else (or by turning of Wi-Fi) to stop One Sec from blocking and start intervening again. The only alternative I found so far is to set a blocking time, e.g.. 60 minutes, but this is not ideal since I'm obviously not always at home for the same amount of time.
So I wanted to suggest implementing a new feature:
to make this easier to do
to make it harder to bypass
Thank you!

Hi! I’ve written a few months ago abut the same issue, I’m commenting so maybe it gains some momentum and gets implemented.

Hi @fixw , you can (un)block apps by location with a workaround via iOS Focus Modes and one sec’s Focus Filters. Are you interested in a tutorial?

Some people reported that the location based trigger of Focus Modes sometimes bugs or does not work at all.
To resolve this, I can recommend to instead set up automations in Shortcuts that activate based on your location:
Activation when arriving
Open Shortcuts > Automations > New Automation > When I arrive > Choose Location / Time Range > New Shortcut > Search for “Set Focus” > Choose Focus > Done
Activation when leaving
Shortcuts > Automations > New Automation > When I Leave > Choose Location / Time Range > New Shortcut > search for “Set Focus” > Choose Focus > Done
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tutorial.
As I’m switching to focus while being home that probably will not work for me.
And just using a focus to block the apps is to easy to bypass. Especially when the default with out doesn’t have a block.
Looking at the shortcuts app I can see I can start a block. But how do I stop a block in a automation?

Hey @fixw
the easy way around Focus Filters is the problem here, I agree.
There is no way to end block sessions in Shortcuts right now. If you want, I can add a feature request “Add End Block Session" command to Shortcuts”?

yes please add.
