"Close App" button should show from the beginning of the Intervention
When I press on the app, I have to do an intervention and then I have the choice to not use the app or to follow through and use it. I think it would be more beneficial for people if the “I don’t want to use this app” button was there as soon as you open the app and the I want to use it button is available after the intervention. Because after I’ve completed the intervention, it’s tempting to just use the app as I have already spent the time doing the intervention.

Ability to stop opening the app right away
I really enjoy the app and happily bought the sub. I’m proposing to move “I don’t want to open App” button to the top of the screen. I often click on the apps midlessly and onesec reminds me to be concious. But it is too long to wait and that punishes good behaviour (leaving the app) just as much as bad (continuing). Navigating out of the screen is somewhat broken as swipe right gesture on iphone often relaunches the app being intervented and restarts intervention. I just want an easy way to close the app and move on with my life

Button to leave during the wait cooldown
I have gradually been increasing my wait cooldown time now up to 40 seconds. By the time I’ve waited the whole period, I almost feel like I deserve to open the app, so I hardly pick to close the app. If there is a button during the cooldown to say that I don’t want to open the app anymore, then I’d probably hit it WAY often, especially in the first second where I realize doomscrolling is not worth waiting 40 seconds. Hope you will consider!

Always show dismiss button in Breathing exercises
Summary: Add an explicit, persistent exit button to reduce exit friction during intervention screens at all times.
Problem: Users currently have to perform a gesture (such as swiping up) to quit an mid-intervention, which requires extra effort compared to a simple button press. During longer interventions, the lack of an immediate, visible exit action makes users default to passively waiting out the timer.
Proposed Solution: Make the quit button on the intervention screen always-on such that it allows an immediate exit at any point without relying on the cooldown.
