Application switching bug

After the iOS 27 update when I'm going to enter an application blocked by one sec, as soon as it redirects to the one sec loading page, I just drag the iphone navigation bar (returning to the blocked application) that I can use it normally without the intervention. I know it's enough for me not to do it, but when I'm wanting to enter an application, now that I know this "hole" it's hard not to end up using it in moments of impulsiveness.

Hi @Samuel L. , this seems to be fixed in the latest beta of iOS 27 – in the meantime you can use this feature: https://tutorials.one-sec.app/en/articles/10449922#lock_target_app_during_intervention_beta

    Hope that helps

    貫通バグについて

    最近、interventionがあっても、一度アプリを閉じてホーム画面にバックし、すぐにもう一度ひらけば、interventionを貫通してしまいます。解決策はありますか。

Bug: Can skip the intervention by clicking on top left corner IOS

Hi there, I have noticed I can skip the intervention in to apps by quickly swiping back to the app (e.g Instagram) using the swipe back arrow in the top left corner. I am on iphone 16e and have noticed it works with all apps. Would be great if this was fixed :)

      Hi @SGreaney @Ishaan

Unfortunately, Apple has introduced a software glitch in iOS 26.6 which prevents automations from running when the target app is opened from the app switcher.

The behavior you described fits that problem. We’ve reported this bug a while ago to Apple, but their developer team got back to us, that they probably won’t fix this on iOS 26. iOS 27 is around the corner however, which does not include this regression.

While are sad (and a little bit angry) that Apple broke a core feature of our app like that, there is not much we can do, unfortunately. We are very sorry for the inconveniences!

I listed here some workarounds for you in the meantime:

      • Update to iOS 27, when it is released (14.09.26). The bug does not exist there anymore. If you want, you can already join the fairly stable public beta here: https://beta.apple.com

      • If you can’t update, you can close the target app (for example “Instagram”) in the app switcher after using. With this, the intervention will be triggered again with the next app opening.

      My other recommendation for you:

      • Also you can use the one sec feature: Lock App during Intervention. This feature prevents you from opening the app via app switcher after the intervention was triggered. To do so, just open one sec -> Customize -> Cheat Locks -> Lock Target App During Intervention

Hope this explanation and workarounds help a little bit!

Bypassing the block via redirection from another app (Google Maps)

One thing I’ve noticed - and have unfortunately been exploiting ever since to bypass the block - is that when using Google Maps, if you select the link for a business or doctor that has its own website, the browser (while being blocked) opens without triggering One-Sec. So far, I’ve only noticed this with Google Maps; with other redirects (e.g., from the browser to YouTube), OneSec activates.

        Hi there @Tom rr

        thanks for getting in touch!

Are you using actually the block feature or is one sec just not intervening (with the breathing exercise)?

        Here to help

Chrome link to X on iOS doesn’t trigger intervention

When directly opening X/Twitter u get an intervention as planned. However when I get there via a link from Chrome there’s none.

and I checked: when I switch away from X after opening through link and then come back, intervention is triggered.

and the debug banner doesn’t show an intervention request for opening the link.
