one sec isn’t really bullet-proof w/ iOS 26.4

I know this isn’t really a one sec issue, but since a feature page was created titled “Making one sec truly bullet-proof with iOS 26.4” and it stated y’all worked with Apple on the feature, I figured I post here and maybe y’all can work with them again. While the toggle for Apps with Screen Time Access is locked behind the Screen Time passcode in Settings Screen Time, if you go to Settings Apps one sec, you can just turn off Screen Time Restrictions which just needs your iPhone passcode/Face ID (not the Screen Time passcode). I hate that I found it but hopefully y’all can work with Apple and they can fix soon.

Extension disables Shortcuts on Slack Web in Arc

I tried the Browser Extension for 2 weeks now. At first it worked everything fine. Now the App doesn’t block the URL anymore (its a slack.com/client url which does not change) and if its blocked, it disables kind of all Slack Shortcuts. Not working anymore: Enter doesn’t send a message anymore (it’s making a linebreak) CMD+K etc. is not working Keyboard Selection is not working anymore What i tried: Clear Application Storage of the page (cache, cookies, sessions) → not fixing Disable the Extension → works Thats why i think it’s the Browser Extension which causes the error. I’m on the latest Arc/Chrome Build. There are no console errors visible.

Fix Bug Bypassing Interruption with the Control Center

DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO ABUSE THIS BUG I’ve been loving one sec and have saved myself a lot of time off of Instagram, but I’ve discovered a bug and have been abusing it for quite a while. If you slide down the control center in the app switcher, close it, open Instagram quickly, then quickly open the control center again, you completely bypass the interruption from one sec closing the control center; you are free to scroll without interruption or anything. I was hoping there’d be a fix, but if not, I would love recommendations to fix the settings in a way to avoid this habit I’ve developed abusing this. **A video recreating the bug is below**

Duration selection not displayed properly in landscape orientation

The selection wheel doesn't display or interact properly when the phone is in landscape mode. Turning the phone back to portrait is a solution, but its a bit annoying.

Application switching bug

After the iOS 27 update when I'm going to enter an application blocked by one sec, as soon as it redirects to the one sec loading page, I just drag the iphone navigation bar (returning to the blocked application) that I can use it normally without the intervention. I know it's enough for me not to do it, but when I'm wanting to enter an application, now that I know this "hole" it's hard not to end up using it in moments of impulsiveness.

Intervention doesn't run on websites if streaming a video in full screen

I am having when I start an intervention and pick the duration on a streaming website such as Prime Video or BBC iPlayer, then I choose my show and click button on the video to make it fill the page, turning the video full screen (this is not the green top left button that makes Mac browsers full screen, I am specifically talking about any full screen video button that fills the entire screen on any streaming website). Like this: The problem is that the intervention will never play on that full screen, unless I click the button shown above on the video to minimise it. Meaning I can watch a 3-hour movie and not get an intervention despite setting it for 30 mins duration. Can this possibly be fixed, or is that not possible?

23 hour screen time block doesn’t take effect

If I create a block lasting 22 hours it works as expected, but a block lasting 23 hours doesn’t work. I understand this may be a screen time issue, but even if it is it would be helpful for One Sec to warn you if a block may not take effect. For a strict block it is impossible to retry with a shorter timeframe - my ploy workaround was to uninstall and reinstall the app. I can reproduce this consistently with a block lasting exactly 23 hours.

One sec not working properly on ChatGPT website

As long as I reload the chatGPT website, the intervention will suddenly disappear & there’s no re-intervention anymore. I tried to disable extension that pop up notification, and even tried to configure all possible settings (Include chatgpt subdomain, or intervention related settings). And the bug still exist. To put in short: Just reload ChatGPT webpage, and intervention + reintervention will no longer work properly I’m using chrome currently

One Sec should not reset my working page

I should not have to have this interaction with 0neSec where i am in the middle of typing a close to 1000 character document and one sec takes over my window only to after requesting for more time find my page refreshed and my typed works gone. That is a serious annoyance and needs to be fixed or you need to find another implementation for the reminders about time usage if you are going to refresh my page and subsequently wipe minutes worth of editorial work. I’m not even lying that was seriously frustrating just now.

Duckduckgo shortcuts: website not shown

Hi, I am using one sec on iOS (app version 5.1). When I try to create an automation for duckduckgo, I can select ‘duckduckgo’ from the first list. However, when selecting the app that needs to be started after one sec, I can only select ‘duckduckgo browser’. If I now start a shortcut (duckduckgo is default browser), I land on an new tab while I expect to land on the URL of the shortcut.

Live activity broken UI

Whenever I activate the manual block using the lock screen toggle, it’s always displayed with a wrong background. I sometimes get it to correctly use the dark version, but I have yet to figure out why it works some of the time. See attached screenshot.

Hi,. I am using OneSec on IOS 26, iPhone 15 base model. I have blocked the instagram website but I want to unblock the instagram DMs. You can check in the screenshot how I have set it up. Problem is, when I visit the URL for the inbox the site is still being blocked for some reason.

Easy to Bypass Adult Content Detox Even When Locked

I found a way to easily bypass Adult Content Detox, even when you have the setting locked: Create either a new manual or recurring block In “Select which to block” select “Block All” In “Exempt Websites from Block” add the website(s) you want to unblock Start the block Having been able to lock the porn blocker setting for 5/10/30 days at a time has helped a lot with supporting healthier habits. Finding this workaround a few days ago and knowing it’s available, I’ve found myself bypassing it daily (sometimes multiple times per day…). In the same vein, when you have a block already active you can start a manual block using the steps above to also add apps to the exempt list that are blocked in the other block. Since it is possible to circumvent Shortcuts automations to access one-sec even during a block, it becomes fairly easy to exempt blocked websites and apps whenever you want - I do see chatter about locking one-sec in the app itself with a code similar to screen time which would be rad. iOS 26.4 has helped tremendously with being able to lock apps with screen time access behind the screen time code which I have safeguarded by a friend. With that setup, I’d like to avoid using screen time itself to block adult websites. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Chromium Extension Crashes And Causes Browser Freeze On Opening X

On Brave, if I attempt to open X/Twitter with the extension enabled, the entire browser freezes and then crashes. I am on Brave 1.88.134 with Chromium version 146.0.7680.153. I tried removing and adding X back, still no help. I'm on macOS if that's relevant. Note: This started as a thread on the Chrome Web Store review page.

Reading time

Hello I read too much. I’m finding One-Sec extremely useful for keeping me off social media sites, so I’ve installed it on my Boox (Android e-reader). 1) it’s not picking up the Kindle and Kobo apps although they were installed from Google Play 2) is there a way to configure the re-intervention time? I’d like to give myself longer when reading - say an hour. Many thanks

wrong time shown by re-interventions

Hi, I've noticed that when multiple re-interventions are triggered, the timer displayed on the screen with “Continue to [app]” button shows the wrong amount of time passed. For example in the image I had first a 3 min intervention and then a 1 minute re-intervention totalling at 4 min, instead it says “last usage: 1 min ago”. I think it should be fixed so that the page displays the real amount of time passed or even something like: “you said 15 min, now it’s been almost 45”.

Way to Circumvent Reintervention

DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE ABLE TO SKIP REINTERVENTIONS I’m not exactly sure how fixable this is, as it seems like an iOS screen time bug (how surprising). When greeted with a reintervention screen, locking the device and unlocking without exiting the app seems to just… let you use it. Once the app is exited, this is ofc fixed. Sometimes it takes up to ~5 seconds or a few tries, but is still really easy to do.
