The Dynamic Island Timer is a powerful visual reminder that keeps your intention and current app usage time front and center.

💡 Hardware Requirement: This feature is only available on iPhone models equipped with a Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro & Pro Max, iPhone 15 series, and newer).

1. What does the Dynamic Island Timer do?

When enabled, one sec will show a live timer in the Dynamic Island at the top of your screen. This display includes:

  • Your current usage time: See exactly how many minutes you've spent in the app during the current session.

2. How to enable the Timer

Turning it on is simple:

  1. Open the one sec app.

  2. Navigate to the Customize tab.

  3. Tap on Dynamic Island Timer and toggle it on.

3. Automatic Dismissal (Highly Recommended)

To ensure the Dynamic Island disappears automatically as soon as you close the target app, you should set up the 🅱️ Log app closing automation.

Without this automation, the timer might stay visible for a while even after you've left the app.
