If you’ve noticed that your shortcut automations (the triggers that open one sec) have become sluggish or slow to respond, there is good news.

Working together with Apple, we have implemented significant performance improvements to resolve these delays.

The Solution: Update iOS

The speed issues were primarily caused by system-level changes in earlier versions of iOS. These have been addressed in the following updates:

  • iOS 18.3: Initial performance improvements.

  • iOS 26 (and newer): Automation speeds have been fully restored to be as fast as they were on iOS 16.

Recommendation: To ensure the fastest possible intervention speed, please update your iPhone or iPad to iOS 26 or newer. This should resolve any lag when opening target apps.
