Block Specific Keywords
Just as you can block specific websites, I believe it would be incredibly beneficial to have the ability to block specific keywords within a browser search. If you find it hard to target all the specific websites of content you wish to block, the best approach would then be to block specific keywords.
Mac Os Centralized App Control for Browser Extensions
macOS app that centralizes all blocking and content-control settings, so users don’t have to configure each browser extension separately. The app could also sync with the iOS version for example, Manual blocks on iPhone should apply to Mac automatically. Include an option to disable syncing for users who prefer independent settings.
Intervention doesn't run on websites if streaming a video in full screen
I am having when I start an intervention and pick the duration on a streaming website such as Prime Video or BBC iPlayer, then I choose my show and click button on the video to make it fill the page, turning the video full screen (this is not the green top left button that makes Mac browsers full screen, I am specifically talking about any full screen video button that fills the entire screen on any streaming website). Like this: The problem is that the intervention will never play on that full screen, unless I click the button shown above on the video to minimise it. Meaning I can watch a 3-hour movie and not get an intervention despite setting it for 30 mins duration. Can this possibly be fixed, or is that not possible?
Wider Re-Intervention Options?
Both on Android and desktop, max re-intervention can only go as low as 15 minutes. This doesn’t feel annoying enough, and given how I’m usually gonna choose the max anyway, I would love it if the max re-intervention could be set as low as 3 or even 1 minute!
[Browser Extension] Adjustable Durations of Intervention
On mobile it can be up to 120 seconds, on web its only 60 seconds. Please, my brain takes longer than 60 seconds to turn on :)
Browser Extension <> LENGO Integration
I am a rising polyglot, and for a year now I’ve been using the Onesec & LENGO pairing on my iPhone to study Brazilian Portuguese. It’s changed my life! However, I really wish LENGO interventions also existed on the Onesec browser extension (since they currently aren’t available there). Please consider adding it if possible!
Interventions for Chrome Settings (In particular, chrome://extensions and similar)
Hi! Really loving one sec, been super helpful for me on iOS. I think it could be really improved on the web browser if it were possible to set interventions for entering the chrome://extensions page, because I find it way too easy to just disable the extension when I encounter the friction (takes like ~3 seconds) and this really invalidates the effectiveness a lot of times of blocks and interventions. I think it just doesn’t recognize it as a valid URL or something? Or are there browser-level barriers on interfering with access to settings pages like that? Thanks so much
Smart Time Based Intervention Lock (Core Feature Request)
One Sec works best when the restriction feels strict and consistent. I would like a smarter time based lock system. If I open an app and allow myself to use it for 5 minutes, and then set an intervention lock for 2 hours, the app should strictly enforce that lock. During those 2 hours, every attempt to reopen the app must require an intervention. Only after the full 2 hours pass should it ask me again how long I want to use the app. Currently, the app asks too soon, which weakens the purpose and makes it easy to re enter impulsively. A persistent, time aware lock would make the intervention much more effective and reliable.
Make re-checks incrementally longer
To make it harder and harder to keep extending your time on an app after re-checking in, the delay to re-open the app should get incrementally longer (or at least make it an option to do so). For instance, the first re-check takes 10s, then the next one is 20s, next one is 40s, next one is 80s, and so on…
Chill mode and work mode
Would love to have modes in android and web Like there are period where I don’t mind chilling or maybe I am presenting in a meet or something and don’t want this jumping all the time. I do want to use it when I am working.

the introduction of a password lock feature that would require a password each time I want to alter the settings.
Hi, I really like your extension and use it all the time, but I tend to misuse it quite a bit. For example, I often find myself mindlessly searching on Google, so to reduce that, I set a 1-minute delay using your extension. However, after a few hours, I end up opening the dashboard and changing it back to the minimum time allowed. This has been happening frequently. I would like to request the introduction of a password lock feature that would require a password each time I want to alter the settings. If that’s not feasible, perhaps you could implement a time block feature, allowing users to set a duration during which they cannot change the settings—similar to a countdown timer. I hope the team considers these suggestions. Thank you!
[Intention Tracking for Android/Browser/MacOS] One Sec, One Question: Why Are You Opening This App?
Before launching an app like Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, etc., prompt the user with one simple, unavoidable question: 👉 “What’s your intention right now?” And make the user type it out manually. "I’m opening YouTube to watch a specific tutorial." "I want to check one DM on Instagram." "I'm just bored and looking to escape." ← even this is valuable awareness. I genuinely believe this small tweak could help a lot of people (myself included) reclaim their attention. [Edit by admin: • Edited platforms, since the feature Intention Tracking is already on iOS. • Edited title for continuity in feature description. OT: One Sec, One Question: Why Are You Opening This App?]
Intervention on extension pages
One sec should also be used in the intervention on other chrome extension pages such as website blocker. Tis add friction on considering to turn off any website blocker.
Allow multiple basic breath phrases
Introduce the ability to add multiple basic breath phrases that are shuffled (as in iOS) so that you don’t get too used to the same message and stop reading it.
Time slider stuck at 1 min in Edge on Android
I am using the one sec browser extension in Edge on Android since it can run extensions from the Microsoft store. It mostly works very nice, but after the intervention time, a slider appears to set the allowed time, but the slider always stays at 1 minute and cannot be changed by either sliding or tapping. A fix would be very nice :-) As a cherry on top, it would be fabulous if the configuration page has a mobile layout to make the process easier.
Block Schedule Doesn't Turn Off
After the block schedule has completed on Safari, the blocks don’t go away or shut off. Refreshing pages and restarting Safari hasn’t fixed anything yet.

Adult Content Detox for the Browser Extension
Blocking function for adult content as with the IOS app with time periods.
Opt-Out Option for: Interventions change the Webpage Title or Favicon
Browsers often cache the title and favicon of a webpage. This means that bookmarks, reading lists, pinned tabs etc… become hard to browse. I see no reason why the browser extension should mess with the page title.
Increase Intervention
Would be great if its possible (like on iOS) to increase the intervention with every attempt to open a website. Its On the mac os app but not on the Browser extension. I think this is a very important feature.
One sec not working properly on ChatGPT website
As long as I reload the chatGPT website, the intervention will suddenly disappear & there’s no re-intervention anymore. I tried to disable extension that pop up notification, and even tried to configure all possible settings (Include chatgpt subdomain, or intervention related settings). And the bug still exist. To put in short: Just reload ChatGPT webpage, and intervention + reintervention will no longer work properly I’m using chrome currently
Block in Chrome, using the One Sec extension
When an app is blocked during a scheduled time, I'm supposed to be able to create a new intervention if I want to access it—set a time limit for using the app and enter or select a reason—but when I tap "Exit" to create the intervention, it doesn't work; nothing happens, and it just stays there, it won’t let me create the exception.

Extension disables Shortcuts on Slack Web in Arc
I tried the Browser Extension for 2 weeks now. At first it worked everything fine. Now the App doesn’t block the URL anymore (its a slack.com/client url which does not change) and if its blocked, it disables kind of all Slack Shortcuts. Not working anymore: Enter doesn’t send a message anymore (it’s making a linebreak) CMD+K etc. is not working Keyboard Selection is not working anymore What i tried: Clear Application Storage of the page (cache, cookies, sessions) → not fixing Disable the Extension → works Thats why i think it’s the Browser Extension which causes the error. I’m on the latest Arc/Chrome Build. There are no console errors visible.
MacOS app features are different to the browser extension which can be confusing
Hi! So I’ve noticed that some things are different on the app and website - and as I am using some websites as Chrome apps saved to my Mac dock, the browser extension doesn’t always work as it thinks the website is an app when I am using it in full screen. Therefore, I am choosing to use the Mac app and add the Chrome apps as apps, which is fine. However, some features are missing from the app, which are available on the browser extension and are quite straightforward. On the browser extension, the exercise duration is: Quick - 3 sec Medium - 6 sec Regular - 10 sec Long - 20 sec Extreme - 40 sec Ultra - 60 sec However, on the app, it looks like this: There is a bug where the Maximum Re-Interruption Time Interval on the app does not let me click “No Limit“. If I click that option, it automatically changes it back to 30 minutes. I can select every option except the “No Limit“, so not sure why this is happening. It would also be amazing if we could choose 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours, too. Because if I am watching a movie with a friend, I’d like to open it for 1/2/3 hours, then have it interrupt instead of having to pick between 45 mins or no limit at all. On the browser extension, in the Intervention Options section, there is a choice to close the tab on intervention exit. It would be great if there were an option to close an app on intervention exit, too. Also, the browser extension lets you keep the Intentional website switching box empty, essentially disabling that feature and allowing you to leave the website as many times as you want. On the app however, there is no option to disable this, and I am forced to pick a duration with 5 mins being the longest - on the browser extension, it’s 10 mins. It would be great if the options matched between the browser extension and the app, but also if there is an option to just not select intentional app switching if not wanted.
Delayed Intervention for Browser Extension
Some websites like youtube and reddit are great when doing research but they can waste your time if you linger too long. It would be nice to have a feature where you’re allowed to open the website but it prompts an intervention after a set time limit.
Chromium Extension Crashes And Causes Browser Freeze On Opening X
On Brave, if I attempt to open X/Twitter with the extension enabled, the entire browser freezes and then crashes. I am on Brave 1.88.134 with Chromium version 146.0.7680.153. I tried removing and adding X back, still no help. I'm on macOS if that's relevant. Note: This started as a thread on the Chrome Web Store review page.
Ecosia Browser Extension
I’d love to see a one sec extension for the Ecosia browser, I always use Ecosia and never switch to any other browser these days. This causes me to mindlessly scroll on Ecosia’s browser on my laptop…
One Sec Pro on Chrome Extensions keeps bugging out
As the title says, after a while the intervention type switches from the new “type random text” back to the breathing exercise. I then have to go back to the extension manually and “check” the Account settings and then it seems to work again
Tab closes even before intervention is done
When I try to access the websites, the tab tend to close even when the intervention isn’t done yet and I have not clicked “I don’t want to open ____“
Can’t add allowed URL to Reddit
When trying to add an allowed URL to the Reddit intervention, the app accepts the URL but doesn’t save it. There’s no error or indication of an issue either. I’ve tried multiple URL’s just to test and nothing is accepted. The URL I would like to add is “https://www.reddit.com/answers” as this serves a slightly different purpose to the rest of Reddit.
[browser-extension] Uncaught 404 Error on Every Page Load from `vendor.js:955`
Description: On every browser page load (including redirects), the One Sec Desktop Extension triggers a failed fetch request, resulting in a 404 error. This appears to originate from vendor.js:955 and happens regardless of the website visited. Example (here on https://drive.google.com): GET https://drive.google.com/user/profile-detail 404 (Not Found) The extension logs a parsed map object after, where the 404 HTML response is split into a key-value table by character: { 0: '<', 1: 'h', 2: 't', 3: 'm', 4: 'l', 5: ' ', 6: 'l', 7: 'a', 8: 'n', 9: 'g', 10: '=', 11: '"', 12: 'd', 13: 'e', ... } This behavior repeats across all websites I tested, not just ones where the extension is configured to activate (If I disable the extension in the extension menu, this error and log message goes away). Environment: Extension: One Sec Desktop Extension 1.1.4 Browsers tested: Google Chrome Version 134.0.6998.178 (Official Build) (64-bit) Frequency: Every page load
what kind of bug is this
